Hanli Prinsloo is a Freediver and Ocean Conservationist. She is the founder of the I AM WATER Foundation which focuses on Ocean Conservation through Human Experience. Apart from her thirteen years of competitive freediving and 11 national records, Hanli has a background in documentary filmmaking which has taken her into the front-lines of social political conflict all over Africa. Hanli is a strong believer in the greatness of the human spirit under the toughest of circumstances, having seen beauty and hope flourish where least expected. Merging her passions for social change and ocean conservation she is now the full-time CEO of the I AM WATER Foundation.
Hanli is also the first recipient of the SLOW LIFE Scholarship, which recognises emerging leadership in environment and social progress.
