SLOW LIFE Symposium 2013 - Soneva Kiri Resort (9)
9/11

China Gateway

On the first day of the 2013 Symposium, Peggy Liu asked us, “Why are you not taking your initiatives to China?” To make real large-scale impact, at a faster pace than can be achieved anywhere else in the world, initiatives must be taken to and localised for China.

The cultural, language, and physical barriers to bringing worthy initiatives to China is daunting unless you work with a local partner. Because China works so differently than the West, initiatives must be adapted significantly to be effective in China. Peggy Liu has offered JUCCCE as a gateway to helping organisations represented at the SLOW LIFE Symposium understand the key decision makers, key channels, key messaging, and key attitudinal shifts that are needed to make them successful.
